How many access points does your office actually need?

As a rough guide, one decent access point covers roughly 1,000-1,500 square feet in open-plan space, less if there are thick walls, metal, or lots of interference — most small offices need at least two working together (mesh or controller-managed), not one router doing all the work.

Coach's tip: get a proper site survey before buying kit; guessing "we'll just get a stronger one" almost never fixes a coverage problem.
