Who we are
My Tech Coach Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, providing IT support to the fitness industry. We are the data controller for the information described on this page. Contact: hello@mytechcoach.co.uk
What we collect when you get in touch
If you complete an enquiry form on this site, we collect the details you give us: your name, your gym or business name, your email address, your phone number, your FitPro membership number if you provide one, and whatever you write in the message box.
We use this only to reply to you and to discuss the services you asked about. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a marketing list without asking, and we do not share it with FitPro or anyone else unless you ask us to.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us, so we have a clear interest in responding. If we later want to send you marketing, we will ask for your consent separately.
If you message us on WhatsApp
WhatsApp messages you send us are processed by WhatsApp Ireland Limited under their own terms and privacy policy. We keep the conversation so we have a record of what was discussed.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become customers are deleted after 24 months. If you become a customer, we keep records for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards, which is the period we are required to keep business records for tax purposes.
Who else processes your data
Hosts this website and receives form submissions. Based in the United States.
Provides our email, file storage and enquiry records via Microsoft 365, and our website analytics via Microsoft Clarity.
Carries messages you choose to send us through WhatsApp.
Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites. The cookie banner asks before anything non-essential is set. If you choose Reject, no analytics cookies are set and the site works exactly the same.
Set by Webflow to make the site function and to remember your cookie choice. These cannot be turned off, as the site would not work without them.
Only set if you accept. These let us see how people move through the site so we can improve it. Form fields are masked, so anything you type into an enquiry form is never recorded.
Changing your mind
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Clearing your browser data for this site will also reset the banner.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, and to object to how we use it. Email hello@mytechcoach.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Changes to this notice will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
