Guest WiFi: why it should never share your main network

A separate guest network, which most business-grade routers and access points support, keeps visitors' devices away from your servers, printers and shared files, so a compromised guest laptop can't reach anything sensitive. It also stops random devices quietly eating your bandwidth.

Coach's tip: change the guest WiFi password periodically — treat it like a shared login, because that's exactly what it is.
